We get our best results by partnering with  you from initial concepts through final delivery.

Here is a sampling of some of what we do and who we are.

graphic design

From the very beginning, we were always a graphic design studio. While we have evolved into a broad service for all things multi-media, much of what we do here is use typography, color, images and composition to help drive a brand or message. Of course, we love to partner with the client to make what they do look great and work even better.

integrative solutions

Current day media has provided a wide range of design and communication possibilities. We like to bring all of these into play. That said, web media has understandably ruled the day. We love to design for the browser by making it disappear and just center on delivering the content.

wordpress_logoWe are huge fans of WordPress and bigger fans of the lively and productive WP community.

We design and build fully featured WordPress sites to fit a wide range of business and communication needs. Your entire site can be managed by you. Of course, we’re always here to help.

gritty production values

Great design will win the first few meetings, but the work starts to get serious when all of the pieces come together in the production phase. With so many tools available and new methods being introduced every week, we welcome the challenge to find what works best. Whether it’s in the browser, ink on paper or large scale displays & installations.

amazing service

We are a very tight knit group here at Rowhouse Studio. Everyone here starts with a great design instinct. We provide comments, solutions and support to each other throughout the day. We often hand off pieces of projects based on skillset and workload. The pandemic had us change how and where we work a bit,  but the tools of the day allow us to be very responsive in coming back to you with great work.

Lou Fuiano

Lou has owned and operated his own studio since 1990. His first job out of art school was working for the Philadelphia typographer George Stallone, where he learned to love the visual impact of typographic form. Early design years were spent doing marketing communication for retailers and corporate clients as well as designing award winning academic book covers for publishers in Philadelphia and New York.

Lou sometimes teaches graphic design for print and the web at Temple University and at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. These days, brand marketing and web design is where the rubber hits the road. Lou has several years of experience across all marketing platforms – including corporate identity, print advertising, package design, posters, brochures & catalogs, and of course design for the web and multimedia.

Serena Zhang

Serena is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in NYC where she studied graphic design. While there, she was a Dean’s List regular and a highly awarded student. In just a very short time she has proven to be a dedicated design professional. She has been here as a free-lancer since the spring of 2016, and from the beginning she has displayed excellent skills across the full suite of Adobe software. Her design sense is downright inspired, resulting in a great command of type and images. She is spot-on and very instinctive when dealing with clients and no one works harder to be responsive. She has also added a component of organization and detail to everything we do here. Through it all, Serena makes it look easy.

Matt Mungan

Matt has worked building online environments since 1998. Matt is a versatile and experienced designer, developer, and marketing professional. As the Director of Interactive Services at DSC Advertising in Philadelphia for nearly 20 years, Matt oversaw all digital projects’ design, development, and execution. These projects included websites, digital advertising, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, email marketing, and social media. In addition, Matt has a background in print, trade show graphics, motion graphics, video, and audio editing.

Matt is a talented designer who can translate those designs to the web and other media. But, most importantly, he is focused on the central importance of the client’s brand, whether solving a design problem with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign or writing clean, semantic, accessible HTML and CSS. Matt is here to help you tell the story that you want to tell.
